Blogcatalog Fixing It's Spam Problem

Dear me, no, this blog is not becoming a blogosphere news blog, no way.  It is just the timing of it.  In my previous post I wrote about how I felt that so much of Blogcatalog was just a spam machine.

Well, today I got a notification about what they are doing at BC (Blogcatalog).  In this discussion, Tony from BC say one thing over and over again… that they want to get BC free of spam.

While I don't think it will ever be "free" of spam, I certainly applaud the attitude.  It could be easy for them to say "well more spammy blogs, more pages to stick ads on, and more money for us".

But they didn't and my looming thought about getting out of Blogcatalog will be postponed for the time being.  Sometimes you meet super cool people there, and I certainly don't mind the exposure they can give you.  Now they just need to accept my See Namibia Blog…

Where are the kittens.  Sorry, I lied.
