Take the 7 Link Challenge Today
Posted on July 20, 2010On Problogger, a blog I visit quite often, there was a challenge to write a post that links to several significant posts. I'm quite late with it, but thought it would be fun!
The post was: Take the 7 Link Challenge Today #7links. So, here is my challenge…
Your first post (sort of, the first ones were all a bit forced): Carrying On At Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge Note that the lodge is now called Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.
Most fun to write: So many posts were fun to write, it's really hard to choose. Be Careful Where You Pee.
A post which had great discussion: I guess some posts created a lot of discussion on Facebook with my friends and family that were not made public, but for real public discussion, I think this one: What is So Special About Deserts.
A post on someone else’s blog that you wish you’d written: I have read this post so many times, and love the way he put it. 50 Website Usability Tips. It seems like he isn't posting on that blog anymore, but I always enjoyed reading it.
Most helpful post: I wrote this post for someone who asked me for advice on twitter, so I guess it was my most useful. I have written some tutorial like posts as well, but on a subject that I am truly qualified to help people with, it'll have to be this one. 30 Things To Do In Swakopmund. Swakopmund is a coastal town in Namibia.
A post with a title that you are proud of: Well, my sister wrote this post for me, but looking through the list of posts I have written, it sticks out. Thanks sister! Hippo Bite and Run.
A post you wish more people had read: All of them, of course. Lets put this one, I really think that Namibia is a wonderful country and it is my whole life to deal with travelers to Namibia, so my 10 reasons has to be one that I would have hoped more people would read. Ten Reasons To Visit Namibia.
One interesting thing with all this is that it gets you thinking. If you had to write a masterpiece, what would you write it on. Do you have a post, or a few blog posts, that you just feel really proud that you wrote?
