Today I'm on a mission,
to spam your comment box

If I say "nice post",
you'll catch me, you big fox

Band from blogging's craft,
beaten, with some rocks

But I've got plan,
I'll rise from our deadlocks

Refreshing all the pages,
I'll spot fresh blog post's box

I'll rush to the bottom,
Creative phrases in my toolbox

I know you'll never spot me,
I'm clever as you, fox

"You've given me lots to think about, you've studied all the docs"

On Flickr you can say "Nice picture, dude", but in blogs we [read:'they'] have become so obsessed with not being noticed when we don't read the blog post.  If you've got any interest in developing not only a following, but building relationships with bloggers - which is partly what bloggers like me are after, read the post, and say something nice

If you feel like you can't muster the deep insight or if you genuinely feel like it's a good post, why, well Sandcurves.com is a safe place - say "Nice Post".

The popularity of Social Media and it's drive into the business world is partly because it is very see-through - you can't fake it for to long.  If you're also looking to drive traffic to your blog, work hard, comment frequently (I do), but don't leave a fat comment full of nothing

Oh, you thought you got away with a 'nice post' comment on this post.  Ha Ha ha… (evil belly laugh)…

Not so quick.  This is my first poem in about 20 years (the last ones were for homework).  My skills are horrid!  I know you can do better!

Your challenge:  Improve on the poem!  Post it in the comments, or back on your own blog and just post a link.

See, poetry still makes me think homework.
